History

• 2022 : ISO 9001 2015 recertification and addition of design to the scope of the certificate.
• 2021 : Purchase of a Mikron 400 HSM-U, 5 axes milling, 42 000 RPM with 18 palets change
• 2019 : Purchase of a Haas VF4SS, 5axes milling, 12 000 RPM
• 2018: Purchase of a new 4-axis milling machine.
• 2018: Updated the ISO standard for the new 9001: 2015 version to better meet the needs of customers by ensuring compliance, traceability.
• 2017: Purchase of new Mitutoyo CMM CNC inspection equipment and Cosmos inspection software.
• 2017: Purchase of the company by Sébastien Alix, son of founder Yvon Alix, holder of a DEC in Mechanical Engineering, a certificate in administration as well as 12 years of experience within the company.
• 2016: Purchase of new larger wire EDM equipment.
• 2015: Purchase of a new 5-axis milling machine.
• 2015: Implementation of an integrated management system type ERP to better meet the ever-increasing demand and offers better monitoring of their projects.
• 2011: Ajustages Altech has been certified by Pratt & Whitney based on ISO 9001 and additional manufacturing & tooling engineering (MTE) requirements.
• 2010: The purchase of cutting edge CNC programming software. The implantation and formation of staff led to increase efficiency and therefore, productivity and deliveries delays.
• 2010: Implantation of ISO 9001-2008 quality system contributes to better conformity, traceability and monitoring of customers requirements.
• 2009: International competition requires businesses to be proactive. In this sense, Ajustages Altech works with a continuous 5 S methodology. This exercise increases workflow productivity by eliminating lost time due to misplaced tools, inadequate, non-standard, etc.
• 2006: A reorganization of the on-site machines area resulted in a reduction of downtime, thus improving productivity.
• 2005: To meet industry standards, the company made a Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) with the help of a consulting firm. This exercise decreased the set-up time while also reducing delivery times and cost.
• 2001: From the Chamber of Commerce of Cowansville and Region, Ajustages Altech received the first place award in the category of Manufacturing Business with 50 Employees or less, as well as the Business of the Year award.
• 2000: Six years after it’s inception, Ajustages Altech built its own premises much larger and better adapted to the needs of the company and it’s customers.
• 1999: The company received a nomination in the manufacturing business category foe 50 employees or less from the chamber of commerce in Cowansville.
• 1996: The owners adopted the ISO 9001 philosophy and developed a continuous quality control that met the needs of their customers to further ensure the ongoing success of the enterprise.
• 1994: Yvon Alix tool/die maker and equipment engineering for 16 years at IBM and Martine Pitre who has her university certificate in administration, combine their experience and start their own business.
